Earth Balance Review & Giveaway

I am trying to get our family to eat more organic and natural stuff. It gets a little hard because things can be so expensive. I was lucky to learn about Earth Balance. They have several different types of products like soymilk, dressings, spreads, and more. I decided to try the whipped spread and the coconut spread. Sorry I have to use their generic photos... long story but my photos got erased. :((

They were great! The whipped spread you could just take out of the fridge and use. You didn't have to sit around and wait on it to become a little soft before spreading. I always hate that. It wasn't over powering like most spreads usually are either. No greasy mess.

The coconut spread I loved to cook with. We used it when making muffins and they were delicious. Even my husband said best batch of muffins ever. Which from him is a compliment, for sure! Coconut spread is supposed to be much better for you over any type of spread so I was glad to see it tasted good. I always pictured the coconut being over powering but it wasn't.

Best part is, they aren't expensive! So I can keep buying them! :))

Check out their site today at http://www.earthbalancenatural.com/

They were generous enough to do a giveaway as well. I have two free product coupons I will be giving away to one lucky winner. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Kozy Shack Indulgent Pudding Giveaway

I am so excited to do my first giveaway since coming back to blogging. I had the opportunity to get a free pack of KozyShack Indulgent Pudding from BzzAgent. I had heard of KozyShack before but I had never tried them. They recently came out with a new line called "Indulgent Recipe". I generally like pudding so figured I would give it  try. When I got to Target I noticed they had chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. I am a huge sucker for fall flavors so of course I went with the salted caramel. Speaking of, have you tried the new Greek yogurt that is salted caramel flavor? Its to die for! Love it! I enjoyed that one so much so I got the same flavor in pudding. Look how yummy it looks.

When I got home I quickly tried it. I mean it looked so good, I just didn't want to wait. My first thought when opening the package was the pudding looks thick. Surely there was an air bubble in there right? Nope. Just really thick pudding. Right then I knew I wouldn't be a frequent …

Clean.Living.

So far we are really liking the Paleo diet. We don't follow it 100% of the time, but I try to make at least one meal and all snacks Paleo. Working on getting there though! We are also trying to live a more "clean" lifestyle. It's great because it is something the whole family has been able to really get into. For Earth Day we decided to build an 8x4 vegtable garden. Little man LOVES to water the garden. I also made my own laundry soap! I haven't gotten to use it yet though because I want to use up the old stuff first, but I am looking forward to it. It was so easy and cheap to make that I think it will be the only way we do our soap from now on. I am looking for a similar recipe for dish soap and other home goods. The next project we are looking into is a laundry line. Any thoughts and opinions from those who have used one before? Here is the link to the soap I made. :)
