Earth Balance Review & Giveaway

I am trying to get our family to eat more organic and natural stuff. It gets a little hard because things can be so expensive. I was lucky to learn about Earth Balance. They have several different types of products like soymilk, dressings, spreads, and more. I decided to try the whipped spread and the coconut spread. Sorry I have to use their generic photos... long story but my photos got erased. :((

They were great! The whipped spread you could just take out of the fridge and use. You didn't have to sit around and wait on it to become a little soft before spreading. I always hate that. It wasn't over powering like most spreads usually are either. No greasy mess.

The coconut spread I loved to cook with. We used it when making muffins and they were delicious. Even my husband said best batch of muffins ever. Which from him is a compliment, for sure! Coconut spread is supposed to be much better for you over any type of spread so I was glad to see it tasted good. I always pictured the coconut being over powering but it wasn't.

Best part is, they aren't expensive! So I can keep buying them! :))

Check out their site today at http://www.earthbalancenatural.com/

They were generous enough to do a giveaway as well. I have two free product coupons I will be giving away to one lucky winner. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Kozy Shack Indulgent Pudding Giveaway

I am so excited to do my first giveaway since coming back to blogging. I had the opportunity to get a free pack of KozyShack Indulgent Pudding from BzzAgent. I had heard of KozyShack before but I had never tried them. They recently came out with a new line called "Indulgent Recipe". I generally like pudding so figured I would give it  try. When I got to Target I noticed they had chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. I am a huge sucker for fall flavors so of course I went with the salted caramel. Speaking of, have you tried the new Greek yogurt that is salted caramel flavor? Its to die for! Love it! I enjoyed that one so much so I got the same flavor in pudding. Look how yummy it looks.

When I got home I quickly tried it. I mean it looked so good, I just didn't want to wait. My first thought when opening the package was the pudding looks thick. Surely there was an air bubble in there right? Nope. Just really thick pudding. Right then I knew I wouldn't be a frequent …

Trash to Treasure Tuesday

My husband and I have decided to venture into the "Trash to Treasure" business. I love it! I love painting or fixing things up. It is totally up my "alley" as my hubby would say. I am a sucker for buying lottery tickets so over the weekend hubby told me to stop and get some Powerball tickets. Well I couldn't resist and got a scratch off while I was at it. We like to play the $20 ones. I won $100! I was so excited. I used that money to buy a piece to refinish and then to buy some supplies I knew I would need for this and future projects. On my local garage sale site I found a cute table for $15. A steal right? I was so sad when I realized I didn't take a before picture. It was solid wood though.

We went a picked it up and brought it home. Hubby sanded it (which was optional but it had some scuffs so we wanted to make it more evened out) then I began painting. One coat didn't seem to be enough.

So I did a second coat...

And finally a third coat. I think t…
