So I have TOTALLY been slacking on my blog lately and I am so sorry! I will have to give y'all a little recap of my chaotic month.
My hubby and I went on an "adult" trip to the beach for my birthday with some family and friends. We had so much fun! I was a little sad to leave monkey at home but at the same time it was nice to get away with him and enjoy our time together. When we got back monkey had to do a 24 hour EEG study. He has been having a lot of seizures lately and we can't really seem to figure out why. Even on his meds. So they upped his medicine doseage and then we still have another week to wait for the results. Stressful in itself. Then last weekend I was admitted to the hospital because I got so sick. It was AWFUL! There for two nights and two days. Never did figure out exactly what was going on. So grateful to feel better and be back home with monkey though. Onto EXCITING news!! I have been chosen to participate in the NCP. I don't know what exactly it will entail but I am very excited! I know they send a scanner and you scan everything you buy, then send it to them via your wireless. Earn points, earn prizes. I am going to be participating in the Magnolia Run on Aug. 25. The proceeds go to help the Epilepsy foundation. I will be pushing Carson in his jogging stroller. He loves when we go "runnin" as he calls it. He loves to tell me to go faster... of course he would when he just kicks back and drinks his applesauce. ;) Hope to be back writing daily! XOXO Cantrells
